Our Policies

Online bookings require a deposit to book, this deposit is $20 per base service - which means any manicures, infills, or extensions.

Deposits are non-refundable. If you cancel your appointment outside of the 24 hour cancellation policy, the deposit amount will be credited to your account for use in salon in future.

At the time of your appointment, the outstanding balance of your booking can be charged to the same card that was used to pay your deposit.

Any cancellations within the cancellation policy, will be charged accordingly to the card used for booking.

Payment options for your appointment are:

- online card payment through the booking system

- bank transfer before leaving the salon

- cash (please ensure this is exact cash as often I do not have change in the salon)

Deposits & Payment

A reminder text and email will be sent to you 48 hours before your appointment time. This is to ensure that you are given plenty of time to contact me to cancel or reschedule if required.

If you need to cancel your appointment, please do so with ample notice. I understand that unexpected things can happen - we can’t help getting sick, or having the car break down, but as Nails in Bloom is a small business, any cancellation can have a big effect on my income, and last minute cancellations are very hard to fill at late notice.

Cancellations within 24 hours of your appointment time will incur a 50% charge of the service booked which will be required to be paid before your next appointment can be booked.

Cancellations within 3 hours of your appointment time will incur a 100% charge of the service booked, which will be required to be paid before your next appointment can be booked.

Reminders & Cancellations

Your appointment time is for you, and you alone. Because the salon is not child-proofed, I do ask that for the safety of your children, please do not bring them along to your appointment with you. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about children in the salon.

When I make your appointment, I am putting aside the exact amount of time needed specifically for you, which means I do not have a lot of wiggle room between bookings.

If you are going to be late, please contact me as soon as possible so that I can check that we will still be able to make your appointment work.

If there is not enough time to carry out your appointment due to lateness, or if you are more than 15 minutes late without contacting me, your appointment will be cancelled and you will be required to pay 100% of your appointment cost before your next appointment can be made.

Your Appointment & Lateness

Please do not show up to your appointment sick - if I get sick, this means that I can not work meaning other people miss out on their appointments, and my business loses income. I do reserve the right to refuse service if you do show up sick, and you will be required to pay 100% of your service before your next appointment can be booked.

Sickness

Your nails are guaranteed for the first 3 days after your manicure, and if anything goes wrong within those 3 days as a result of my application (ie - polish chipping or lifting) I will fix this free of charge for you. If something happens because you have been hard on your nails and are treating them as tools, this will not be covered. I am happy to fix it, but you will be required to pay $15 per nail for this repair, or $20 per nail if an extension is required.
